Georgica Pettus

Georgica Pettus is an American artist working in time-based media and performance. She focuses on theories of interactivity as they pertain to dance, language, and computation. Much of her work is rooted in the act of translation, and the convergence of written and embodied syntax. Recent exhibitions include The Art of Noises VII, Modern Art Oxford (2022), Unfinished Camp, The Shed and House of Electronic Arts (2021), New Chip, LOVE (2021), and The Symbolists, Hesse/Flatow (2021). Pettus is an MFA candidate at The University of Oxford.
