Pivô faces the on-going challenge of supporting itself as an independent art institution in Brazil. To this end, it relies on a personalised internal economy and a network of supporters who are actively involved in the institution. Currently, Pivô’s annual income is comprised of the financial support offered by private companies and individuals through national incentive laws, strategic partnerships, direct donations within Friends of Pivô and Pivô Circle programmes, commercial rentals and fundraising events, as well as the takings from the auction sales of artworks during the Pivô’s Annual Auction and within the Multiples Programme.
There are many different ways to support Pivô, from acquiring an artwork at auction to directly funding an exhibition. Help us secure Pivô’s longevity and its impact on the Brazilian art scene.
